Breaking the Cycle: Education for a Brighter Future

Uganda is one of the youngest nations in the world, with over 75% of its population under the age of 30. Despite this, education remains a major challenge. While primary school enrollment is relatively high at 91%, secondary school attendance drops to just 23%, often due to financial constraints. For families of reformed poachers—who typically have six to seven children and little formal education themselves—school fees are simply out of reach.

At MBC, we believe that access to free, quality education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty and poaching.

Our Commitment:

-
School Sponsorship Program: We provide full sponsorships covering tuition, uniforms, and supplies, ensuring children of reformed poachers can attend school without financial hardship.
-
Monitoring and Support: We track attendance and academic progress, providing sponsors with regular updates, photos, report cards, and the option to connect with families via video calls.
-
Affordable Sponsorship: From just $200 USD per year, you can give a child the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.

By investing in education, we empower families, strengthen communities, and create lasting change—turning former poachers into Wildlife Guardians for future generations.
